Howdy..  I have returned from a much needed vacation in Jacksonville Beach, and I guess it is time to get back to work..  I saw a great show at Freebird's near the beach with Colonel Bruce and the Code Talkers (featuring Jimmy Herring), and have posted a few pics from the show in the photo gallery..  Jimmy is one of the world's greatest guitarists, and it was quite a treat to see him play with the Colonel again..  I have seen him play with the Allman Brothers, Government Mule, Phil Lesh, and the Dead over the past few years, and it is simply amazing to watch him work..  Absolutely incredible..  If you ever have the opportunity to see him perform, don't pass it up..  It was a great show...
I returned to town in time to play at Monterrey's Mexican Restaurant in Doraville on Thursday evening, and had a good time performing songs by Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Harry Chapin, and others..  The margaritas were tasty, and the crowd was fun..  I play there most every Thursday, so come on down for great food and margarita specials..  It is always a great party..
I will be performing with the League Of Decency at Chateau Elan on Saturday at noon till 4:00 p.m.  This is for their wine tasting party, and it is open to the public..  Chateau Elan is located on North 85 near Winder..  We will be playing songs by Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Chicago, Glenn Miller, Johnny Guitar Watson, Van Morrison, and others..  Hope to see you there..
The murder investigation surrounding my friend, George Lathbury, is still ongoing and will be featured this weekend on Fox News Channel on the Big Story..  Many things have happened in the past couple of weeks, and the police are still searching for his wife, who vanished after they questioned her..  They have warrants for her arrest, and have a nation wide APB lookout for her..  I will keep you informed of any updates about the case..

That is all the news for now..  I'll be posting more dates on the calendar, and more pics in the photo gallery, so please visit while you are here..  Take care, and I hope to see you soon....

Peace,  Tommy
