I have performed, and continue to perform with several great bands, and musical ensembles in the Atlanta area. Here is a brief synopsis of each one:
MOTION is a rock band covering most of the great bands of the 70s and 80s.. We do lots of material including Journey, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, The Cult, Billy Idol, and much more.. The band includes Ruud Cooty, Dean Donald, and Chris Ortiz.. All of these guys are monster players, and have played in several groups all over the world..
KNIGHT TRANE is a band that I have been involved in since 1987..  It has had many different members, and each one has contributed their own unique style and musical ingenuity.. I have been extremely fortunate to play with some of the finest musicians around..  We have probably played every style of music imaginable, and had lots of fun doing it!!  The band has ranged from a 3 piece trio, to a 7 piece dance group..  Look for lots more from KNIGHT TRANE..
HEAVEN DAVIS is a wonderful R&B, Soul singer who I have worked with for many years. We have played some great gigs together, including shows with Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, and Delbert McClinton.. It is always a great experience to watch Heaven perform. She has a magical way of working an audience.. Check her out at www.heavendavis.com
RON KIMBLE is an Atlanta icon. He is well known for his big, booming voice, and his encyclopedic knowledge of songs. I've played guitar for Ron (on and off) for over 10 years, and he is still able to pull songs out of his hat that astound me. There is never a dull moment at his shows, and everyone loves to hear him sing.
LEAGUE OF DECENCY is a jazz, swing, dance band that has quite a history.. It is fronted by Tommy Dean (one of the best vocalists around), and incorporates a 3 piece horn section (Randy Hunter, Earl Ford, and Karl Liberatore), along with Billy Burke on bass, and Tim Nash on drums..  We perform at corporate parties, wedding receptions, and the occasional club date..
